Youth Volunteers wanted
FCSN South Bay Center is recruiting youth volunteers to help in our 2012 Summer Camp and Music Camp.
Time:
7/23/2012 – 8/10/2012, Monday to Friday from 8:45AM-4:30PM.
Location:
6345 Janary Way, San Jose, CA 95129
(Guidepost Gospel Church near Miller Middle School)
Duties:
To
help our special needs campers to engage camp activities including:
dance/movement, art, cooking, social skills, pre vocational skills, PE,
field trip, music, and swimming.
Mandatory Training:
All
youth volunteers are required to attend orientation training on
7/14/2012 from 9:00AM -12:30PM in FCSN South Bay Center at 3675 Payne
Ave., San Jose, CA 95117
Benefit:
-A great opportunity to earn community service hours.
- Learning skills to work with special needs people.
-Higher priority to be an assistant teacher in FCSN South Bay Saturday Family Support gathering.
-A fun summer activity and costs free.
Requirement:
Age
15 or above, creative, willing to learn skills to work with special
need children, and has to commit minimum one week in the camp.
